Oleg Demchuk

Graduated from the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Ukraine), Dr Oleg M. Demchuk took his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the Institute of Organic Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences, and completed postdoctoral NATO Science fellowship in Prof. Victor Snieckus group at the Queen’s University.

Currently Dr Oleg M. Demchuk is an assistant Professor at the Marie Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin (Poland), where his research interests embrace (in a wide sense) the exploration of the origin of asymmetric catalysis and cross-coupling reactions. In particular, he is concerned with the design and synthesis of new chiral phosphorus ligands, their coordination chemistry, and application in different types of catalytic processes.

Dr Oleg M. Demchuk is a member of IUPAC Division III and CHEMRAWN Committee as well as he is editor in chief of open access Journal “Current Chemistry Letters”.
